Siva , co-founder of our portfolio company DhanaX , is amongst the 30 nominations for Pepsi-MTV Youth Icons of 2008. Yay!

Pepsi and MTV, two of the leading youth brands in India, annually identify icons among Indian youth that match their aspirations. Past icons include Anil Ambani (2003), Rahul Dravid (2004), Shahrukh Khan (2005), M.S.Dhoni(2006) and Orkut(2007). This year the organizers are looking for 30 individuals who are making a difference in their own way. To quote from the organizers “We were looking for the ones who may not be super achievers but those who have made a difference”.

From the 30 nominations, the organizers are currently short listing the final 8 icons through an Internet/SMS based poll. A vote from you can help Siva and DhanaX to reach the top 8 positions.  By doing so, you will be helping DhanaX to reach their goal of helping thousands and thousands of women entrepreneurs across India quickly.
